Children’s  Room

Located on the first floor, the Children’s Room offers a variety of reading and listening materials for your child, from birth through the middle grades. Games, puppets, blocks, toys, and science experiments are also available to encourage learning and literacy through play for you and your family.

Children’s ebooks, digital audio books, non-fiction resources, and streaming video are available through the MCLS Overdrive catalog.   All you need is a MCLS library card to access free digital content.

Story Times & Events

Story time is a fun way to support your child’s literacy development, inspire a love of reading, and meet other families from the area.  Each story time and event is designed for a specific age group, but siblings of all ages and abilities are always welcome. Children under 5 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver at events. Children under the age of 12 should be supervised by a responsible caregiver when in the library.   All programs are free of charge.
